Ann Coulter called the President of the United States a “retard.”

I would say this behavior was offensive, boorish, inappropriate, and completely out of place in 21st century political discourse — and that you wouldn’t even catch a 12-year-old middle schooler saying it, let alone a 50-year-old multimillionaire — but Ms. Coulter is a graduate of the University of Michigan, so we shouldn’t expect much from her, really.
